The only protest about the filter is that it is very tiresome to get the first filter off for replacement. I have used the PUR and Brita filters in the past, this is much easier because you don't have to turn a knob, just push it in. And, once the fill up is shut off, it income to non-filtered fill up so you don't waste any filtered fill up the next time you turn on the tap. I'm in tension the next replacement will be easier!
